Inviting all poets and poetry lovers to another Open Mic Evening at the Crypt. Our Guest Poet is the fabulous Anna Frearson.

Calling all poets! Come and read your poetry (or simply listen) in the intimate and friendly atmosphere of Seaford's mediaeval undercroft. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or juice as our wordsmiths weave their magic.

Our guest poet this time is the brilliant Anna Frearson. Anna writes:

'I have been writing poetry most of my life. However it's only been the past 5 years or so that I started sharing it more and performing.

I like to surprise, shock, tickle, amuse, touch deeply and tenderly with my poems. I hope they are a stimulus for personal reflection and evoke many emotions. I particularly love rhyming poetry that tells a story.

I have self published my triptych of poems - The Innocence of Being Eve - three poems and a sequel that are very close to my heart.

I also curate the ‘Peoples’ Poet’ page in Lewes News, encouraging local people to share their voice through poetry.'
